The Blanchester Local School District is located in the southeast corner of Clinton County.

Blanchester School District consists of 4 schools ie: Blanchester High School (grades 9-12), Blanchester Middle Schools (grades 6-8), Blanchester Intermediate School (grades 4-5), and Putman Elementary (grades Pre-School-3). Enrollment averages 1700 students.

Blanchester is accredited by the State of Ohio and the North Central Association. In addition to having outstanding college preparatory and general courses of study, BLS is affiliated with the Great Oaks Vocational System, which offers 30 vocational programs and Tech Prep courses of study.

Our Blanchester Wildcat athletic teams compete in the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference.

Blanchester Local School students consistently rank among the top in the area in proficiency and achievement tests.
